It seems that at the end of every harvest season, our customers start having withdrawals and cannot stand to see the harvest end. Again this year we are offering one more share to be delivered the week before Thanksgiving.  These special harvest shares will be available to our current members and all others who would like a fresh and local collection of produce for their Thanksgiving dinner.  You will not be limited to one share as they would make great gifts for family and friends as well.

The shares will come in a new Sun Gold Farm reuseable bag which will be yours to keep!
The 2011 cost is $35.00.  We will accept checks sent with your applications.

We are excited to again offer wine from our neighbors, Apolloni Vineyards (LIVE/Salmon Safe Certified Sustainable).  We love their wines and their devotion to their land.  Go to www.apolloni.com for more info.  You can also purchase more of our farm's honey that so many of you have enjoyed this past year, along with Golden Orchard's Cinnamon Creamed Honey.

A new addition this year is the option to order fresh holiday decor designed and hand made here on the farm!  These beautiful evergreen wreaths will be freshly made and will last throughout the holidays.

This is a possible list of items that you will find in your Thanksgiving Share (Subject to Change):
Cole Crops (such as cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, and/or brussels sprouts), Baking Potatoes, Apples, Onions, Pears, Pie Pumpkin, Winter Squash,  Walnuts, Parsley, Sweet Potatoes, Dry Beans, Ornamentel Corn, Ornamental Gourds, Popcorn

For an additional charge:

2009 Pinot Grigio $12
Crisp and clean, this wine has wonderful aroma of honeydew melon and is bursting with ripe apple and pear flavors with hints of orange and cedar and lovely minerality.
2009 Pinot Noir Cuvee L $19
The Laurine label explores the more delicate and feminine character of Pinot noir. Enjoy the Pinot Noir’s traditional floral aromas with its bright strawberry, raspberry and cranberry notes with a hint of toasted vanilla.  This graceful and well-balanced wine is made for food lovers, and would pair perfectly with your turkey dinner.
2010 Viognier Dolce Vino  $19, normally $22
This wonderful dessert wine brings out the floral, apricot, pear and spice flavors unique to the Viognier grape.  Made in the ice-wine style from frozen Viognier, the concentrated flavors and aromas capture the essence of the sunny growing season into each small bottle.  Enjoy this candy for adults! (This is a personal favorite of Stephanie's, and she recommends it to accompany your pumpkin pie!)

A charming table accent made with Noble Fir, blue-berried Juniper, Incense Cedar, Holly, and red berries.  It can also be used as a small wall wreath.  (Approximately 12" in outside diameter)

Sun Gold Farm Honey (16 oz.) and Golden Orchard Cinnamon Creamed Honey (12.5 oz.)   $18 for the pair
We are offering two honeys this year as a package-deal. The Sun Gold Farm honey will be from bees working our fields, and also surrounding hedgerows and yards. It will be raw honey so as to contain the most health benefits.  A great pairing for your holiday feasts is a delicious Cinnamon Creamed Honey from Golden Orchard.  The Golden family has been farming in the Willamette Valley for six generations, since 1843.  This Cinnamon Honey would be great with sweet potatoes or as a topping to any rolls or bisquits.  Though we are only offering one of their many wonderful products, you can check out other items that they produce on their website www.golden-orchard.com.
